SEND Information Overview

During their time at school many children are identified as having a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). Sometimes these needs are short term and in other cases they may be ongoing.
As part of the Children and Families Bill 2014, all schools in Central Bedfordshire are required to publish details about how they can support children and young people with a Special Education Need and/or Disability (SEND).
On this section of the website, you can see details of how we support children with a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND) at Lime Tree Primary Academy.
For further information or to make an appointment with myself for a chat, please contact me by either email or telephone on the details below:

Special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can affect a child or young person’s ability to learn. They can affect their:
-
behaviour or ability to socialise, for example they struggle to make friends
-
reading and writing, for example because they have dyslexia
-
ability to understand things
-
concentration levels, for example because they have ADHD
-
physical ability
